Install SSH Server in ArconQ VM

To install SSH server in ArconQ VM, execute following commands as a root. Internet connection is required.

apt update && apt install openssh-server -y

Configure root Account Login

Enabling root account login in production environment imposes a security risk. This approach can be used in development environments only!

To enable root login over SSH, execute following commands as a root.

echo "PermitRootLogin yes" >> /etc/ssh/sshd_config && systemctl restart ssh

You should be able now to log as root over ssh.
