App Feed

An App Feed is a feature that allows you to display custom data generated and provided by Apps hosted in the ArconQ.

Sending App Feed payload​

The App Feed bus is included in the ArconQ SDK. To use it, inject IAppFeedBus into a service and use the SendAsync<T>(T payload) method. You can pass objects, which will be automatically serialized to JSON.

The below code presents a sample code:

{
    private IAppFeedBus _appFeedBus;

    public AppFeedProducingService(IAppFeedBus appFeedBus)
    {
        _appFeedBus = appFeedBus;
    }

    public async Task CreateNewAppFeedAsync(string payload)
    {
        await _appFeedBus.SendAsync(payload);
    }
}

Displaying App Feed payload​

To see the most recently received feed, go to the App Details view by clicking the desired app on the Apps view. It will be refreshed in a real-time. If the App is not running, its most recent historical entry will be displayed.
