Configure Helm Registry access

Helm is the package manager for Kubernetes.

ArconQ distribution is based on Helm standards. Helm charts are released to and stored in ArconQ Helm Registry. It’s required to add this registry to well-known registries list and pass the authorization process to get ArconQ distributions.

Add ArconQ Helm Registry

Before you begin, make sure you have obtained your ArconQ Helm Registry credentials.

To let Helm install a chart from ArconQ Helm Registry such a repository has to be added to the well-known registries list.

Execute this command to do so. You will be prompted for your ArconQ Helm Registry.

helm repo add arconq ARQ_HELM_URL --username ARQ_HELM_USER

Where:

  • ARQ_DOCKER_URL is the URL of ArconQ Helm Registry.
  • ARQ_HELM_USER is your user name for ArconQ Helm Registry.
