Importing and exporting workspaces
ArconQ allows you to easily import and export your Workspaces. Your exported workspaces are provided as a .zip file and can be imported into any other ArconQ instance.
This table shows what to expect when you export and import a workspace.
| What is exported | What is not exported |
|---|---|
| Apps | App Templates |
| App Configuration | Workspace name and description |
| App connections | App Port mapping |
| Communication diagram layout |
Exporting a Workspace
There are two ways to export a Workspace:
From the Apps view: Select the Export button from a Workspace's context menu on the right. This will export the currently open Workspace.

You can only export a Workspace containing at least one App.
Importing a Workspace
The import operation will fail if your ArconQ instance does not provide the required App Templates used by apps in the exported Workspace. Make sure to create or push them first.
